TGR releases sneak preview of new film ‘Re: Session’ featuring Sammy Carlson

Sammy Carlson is seemingly everywhere these days. A few days ago I posted an impressive bonus edit of ‘Pasty-C’ from his brand new film project entitled “Can’t Stop.” Besides filming for his own movie, Sammy spent a good chunk of the winter with the folks from Teton Gravity Research.

Carlson, a skier who blew up almost overnight via the park scene, has slowly but surely moved his skiing more into the backcountry. Like skiing idols such as Tanner Hall, Carlson has been taking more and more of his park tricks into the mountains.

His bonus edit from “Can’t Stop” clearly shows Sammy hasn’t lost an edge in terms of his park vocabulary, but as you’re about to see in this latest TGR clip, he has definitely come a long way towards dominating the entire mountain with his skill-set.

Watch this section filmed over the course of the 2008-2009 season in such locales like Cooke City, MT and Jackson Hole, WY. When you’re done, go grab a copy of the amazing new film “Re: Session” because Sammy’s section isn’t the only jaw-dropping footage in the film. You need to see this in its entirety.
