Recent snow storm allows Deer Valley to open 52 runs

Deer Valley Resort opened for the 2009/2010 season on Saturday, December 5, 2009 and since then has received massive amounts of powder. The ski area received nearly three feet of snow over the weekend and has also been utilizing its extensive snowmaking capabilities.

Today the resort opened the Empire Canyon Lodge which can be accessed by Bandana ski run. That now brings the ‘open’ tally to 17 lifts and 52 runs!

Starting tomorrow, regular lift ticket prices kick in and run as follows:

Adult $86 Full Day, $60 Half Day (on sale @ 12:15 p.m.)
Senior (65 +) $62 Full Day, $43 Half Day
Child (12 and under) $53 Full Day, $42 Half Day
Tot (3 & under) $21 Full Day, $14 Half Day
