Stratton ready to party in to 2010
Come celebrate New Year’s Eve with fireworks, live music and much more!

Stratton Mountain, VT – The last 12 months have been memorable here at Stratton, from rail jams, to pond skims, rounds of golf, the 4th of July, Columbus Day and our opening earlier this month.

And we’ve been fortunate enough that you’ve been a part of it all.

Now we’re looking ahead to 2010, and what will surely be another year of ‘big air’, fresh powder, long drives, success for the Stratton Mountain School alums in Vancouver and a rocking party during the U.S. Open in March.

Come celebrate New Year’s Eve with Stratton starting at 6 p.m. as the base area becomes party central with fireworks, a torchlight parade, fun filled family activities and more.

It all begins with a family style dinner in the Base Lodge, with one wing being set up with food stations representing different themes from around the world, while the other wing is set up with dancing, a DJ, cash bar and kids crafts. Double Diamond will also be open selling decadent deserts and specialty coffees.

At 8:45, the fireworks show and torchlight parade begin on the mountain and after the lights go out, adults can continue to revel in the celebration by going upstairs to Grizzly’s where Grizzly’s where the Brother Josephus and Love Revival Revolution Orchestra will be performing, hor d’oeuvres will be served and per tradition, a champagne toast once the clock strikes midnight.

Ticket prices for the dinner are $64 for adults and $32 for children 12 and under. The kids buffet for those five and under is $7.95. Grizzly’s is open for those 21 and over only, tickets are $25.
