Bad weather means no women’s downhill World Cup races today

Dang, we hate it when this happens. Due to the thick fog in Val d’Isere today, officials canceled the women’s downhill World Cup ski race today. It kept being delayed as everyone hoped the weather would clear up, but alas, Mother Nature decided to frown upon the world of World Cup ski racing today.

No doubt Lindsey Vonn can’t be happy. The rockstar ski racer landed the top spot on the podium for yesterday’s super combined races, and she’s been absolutely killing it in the downhill training runs.

We don’t know if and when this will be rescheduled, although it probably will be.

Hopefully the weather will be good enough for tomorrow’s super G for the women. Help us out Ms. Mother Nature!
