Switzerland’s Simon Ammann takes the World Cup overall standings lead by winning the Ski Jumping World Cup event in Engelberg, Switzerland today.  The event was cut short by wind allowing his 141 meter jump to give him the title and pass up Austria’s Gregor Schlierenzauer.

Norway’s Bjorn Elnar Romoren finished second with a 138 meter bomb which moved him into third place in the overall.

This was Ammann’s 3rd World Cup Title of the season and his 11 career victory.
