Mom calls cops on son due to excessive video game playing, why We Ski would have helped

This story is just plain ridiculous. A woman in Roxbury, Massachusetts (just south of Boston) was so fed up with the amount of time her 14-year-old son spent playing video games, that she felt she needed to involve a third party. That third party was the police.

The woman said her boy was up all night playing Grand Theft Auto, a very violent game that condones activities such as stealing cars, beating up hookers and doing drugs. When the cops were called, she put her son on the phone with them: “They (police) were just like, ‘Chill out. Go to bed.’” said the boy.

Here’s the best part. The woman claimed she wouldn’t have any beef if the boy were up playing a sporting game, like say, We Ski. The Boston Herald reported: “Mejia said she approves of athletic-themed videos, but as for “Grand Theft Auto,” she said, “I would never buy that kind of video. No way. I called (police) because if you don’t respect your mother, what are you going to do in your life?”

That’s right kids. Respect your mother and father. And make sure to play We Ski instead of Grand Theft Auto or else you’ll get the man on your back.
