World Cup podium star Hannah Kearney took the women’s gold medal today at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Steamboat, CO. The Vermont native outskied her U.S. Freestyle Ski Teammates on the challenging Voo Doo course for the win–and an automatic spot on the U.S. Olympic Team for the 2010 Games in Vancouver.

Kearney won the 2005 Olympic Trials, also held at Steamboat and qualified for a spot at the 2006 Olympic Games in Torino.

The men are still skiing, and so far, things look promising for 2009 World Moguls Champion Pat Deneen. Check back at the skichannel.com for the final results.

Top three results:

1. Hannah Kearney  26.30
2. Emiko Torito  25.96
