As long as they do it with the utmost respect for the environment, there is no better news than new base camps, lodges, lifts, gondolas and ski runs.

Per ABC News, the Vail Ski Resort has now gotten approval to build a new high speed quad, restaurant and maintainance facility as well as expand snowmaking capabiliities and upgrade another lift from the U.S. Forest Service.

Per ABC, the ski resort had to make some changes to offset a potential impact to the lynx habitat in the area.  You know that if Vail  Resorts are doing a project, it will be done right and minimal impact to the environment will be incurred.

Growth!!!  Way to go Vail for helping move the economy with big cap ex projects like this one.
