Famed director Roman Polanski could be leaving the fancy digs of his Swiss ski chalet in Gstaad, Switzerland for a Los Angeles jail.  A judge in LA has a set a hearing in his criminal case for Wednesday, which will be the first time the 30-year-old sex case has been in court since an appeals court denied Polanski’s bid to have it dismissed last month.  Authorities in Switzerland have not ruled on whether they will extradite him to LA, as he fled the U.S. in 1978 the day before he was to be sentenced for having unlawful sex with a minor.  The hearing on Wednesday will be a status conference and is set for 3:00 p.m. PST.
