U.S. Cross Country Championships results

On Monday, Kris Freeman of Andover, New Hampshire, and Kikkan Randall of Anchorage, Alaska, continued their trend of being two of the winningest skiers in U.S. Ski Team history. Kris won the men’s 15K race and Kikkan won the women’s 10K freestyle race at the ConocoPhillips U.S. Cross Country Championships in Anchorage.

This was Kikkan’s second win of the week and her 12th career championship win, and it was Kris’ 13th career title win.

The Championships will continue on Wednesday with a women’s 20K and a men’s 30K classic technique mass start. Then the races conclude Friday with classic sprints.

Men’s 15K Freestyle

Women’s 10K Freestyle
1. Kikkan Randall, Anchorage, 28:40.1
2. Caitlin Compton, Minneapolis, 28:50.5
