On Saturday, January 9th, Colorado’s Arapahoe Basin will turn on the Pallavicini chairlift, serving newly open terrain including West Wall, Grizzly Road, and Upper Slalom Slope. Montezuma Bowl will hopefully be ready soon as well. Spokeswoman Leigh Hierholzer said it will only take “a few more storms, and that area should be ready to open in the near future”.

As for the open terrain, A-Basin’s general manager Alan Henceforth tested it out on Thursday: “The skiing on Slalom Slope is fantastic,” Henceroth said. “It’s powder skiing. Everyone needs to get out there!”
