Hit and run snowboard accident

Last Saturday (January 2nd), a snowboarder rammed into a nine-year-old girl in Big Bear, CA and proceeded to ride off, without even seeing if she was OK.

She wasn’t OK. She broke her leg and sustained many wounds to her face. The crash happened around 1PM.

The girl was treated a local hospital and is fine, but authorities are now on the lookout for the hit-and-run snowboarder. He has been described as male, 25-30 years old, and between 5’10″ and 6’2. He was apparently wearing a black and white jacket, black pants and riding a black snowboard.

If you have any information about this guy, the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station is asking for your help. Contact the Sheriff’s Station at (909) 866-0100, or do it anonymously by calling WE-TIP at (800) 78-CRIME.
