A few days ago we reported on the opening of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It stands at 2,716 feet high. Like any extreme sport enthusiasts, we immediately thought of how cool it would be to base jump off of it.

A couple of guys beat us to the punch. Nasr Al Niyadi and Omar Al Hegelan, from the Emirates Aviation Society, broke the record for the highest base jump after they flew off the building a day after the official opening. We may have to extend our ski Dubai trip and base jump this thing too. Click here to watch the video.
