Last year while skiing in Quebec, actress and humanitarian Natasha Richardson suffered a fatal brain injury after crashing. It was considered a freak accident. She is survived by two sons, Michael and Daniel, as well as her husband, actor Liam Neeson.

On February 10th, Natasha will be honored at the amfAR Gala. Her mother, Vanessa Redgrave, actress Meryl Streep and amfAR founding member Dr. Mathilde Krim will take part in the tribute. Natasha was on the board of trustees since 2006. Her father, Tony Richardson, died from AIDS-related complications in 1991, and since then Natasha had been a devoted advocate for AIDS research.
