Conan O’Brien leaving The Tonight Show January 22nd, we know where he’s going

Conan O’Brien’s last new telecast of “The Tonight Show” will most likely be January 22nd. A source said “Conan does not currently plan on doing any more new shows after next week.”

This decision comes on the heels of Conan’s statement refusing to go along with NBC’s plan of having him host “Tonight” at 12:05AM instead of its usual 11:35PM. “I cannot participate in what I honestly believe is [The Tonight Show's] destruction,” said O’Brien.

As we reported earlier, we’ve been trying to get out CEO Steve to launch negotiations with Conan’s people. We want him to host our version of “The Tonight Show”, “Moguls”. Currently our main man, former VH1 and MTV VJ Zeke Piestrup is hosting, and doing an awesome job, but if Conan comes on…that’d be huge for us.

Now all we need are a few million bucks to pay him. Can anyone spot us a few?
