…with a fair! National Ski Area Awareness Week starts on Saturday and goes until the 22nd. Click here to read about it.

As for Mt. Hood, on Saturday, they’re kicking off the week with a Safety Fair. At the fair, if you can learn the seven basic safety codes, you may win some prizes including messenger bags and whistles! Collect all seven “Codester” stamps on your Code Card, and you may win a 10 Time Pass!

Reps from the Meadows Pro Patrol will be there to provide some education and knowledge dispensation regarding safety skills and know-hows.

The best part? A sort of easter egg hunt type thing, but you use tracking beacons used by backcountry skiers to find the hidden goodies! Be safe out there people!
