Give it up for Ashleigh McIvor! Ashleigh, from Whistler, is not only a super talented athlete, but she’s also one of our illustrious SuperBabes of Snow (yay testosterone)!

Yesterday, Ashleigh, who hopes to be named to the Olympic team, grabbed herself a silver World Cup medal at a ski cross race at Blue Mountain.

If you’re not familiar with Ashleigh, she was the 2009 world champion for ski cross and is in second place this year in World Cup standings. In first right now is Ophelie David from France. Winning the gold in yesterday’s race was Marte Hoeie Gjefsen of Norway. Slovenia’s Sasa Faric was third.

For the men, Matt Andreas from Austria took the top spot on the podium, with Sweden’s Lars Lewen second and Austria’s Patrick Koller third.
