The Nordic Combined Olympic Team for the United States this year is, according to the U.S. Ski Team, “the strongest U.S. team ever”. Wow. Well, what do you expect when you have Todd Lodwick, Billy Demong and Johnny Spillane leading the pack? These guys have been a force to be reckoned with all season long. Nordic Director John Farra refers to them as a “group of proven champions that has come together after many years of working together as a team.”

The 2010 Winter Olympics will be Lodwick’s fifth time going to the games! He came out of retirement to rock this season’s pants off. Spillane, the 2003 World Champion, is having one of his best seasons yet, and Lodwick has had podium finishes in both Val di Fiemme, Italy and Chaux-Neuve, France.

Former U.S. Ski Team athlete Dave Jarrett will be the Olympic Team head coach: “This is the most prepared group of athletes I have seen,” he said. “The Big Three have been working hard and positioning themselves to be medal threats their entire careers. They have World Cup and World Championship pedigrees that reflect it, too.”

Wanna know how these guys do it? Good thing Billy Demong just released this secret training video…secret’s out kids.
