Haiti gets more relief from the ski industry

Joining the numerous ski resorts pitching in to help the earthquake-devastated Haiti is Mt. Hood Meadows in Oregon.

On Monday, February 15th (yes, the President’s Day holiday), lift tickets will only be $10 from 3PM to 9PM. The lift ticket money will be donated to Mercy Corps’ Haitian relief efforts, and you can get them online at www.skihood.com/helphaiti.

Resort officials are hoping that with the discounted lift ticket price (normally $25), the extended night ski hours, and the philanthropic nature of skiers and snowboarders…many will come and ski in support of Haitian relief.

Do what you can to help the poor folks in Haiti. This way, you can help them and help yourself by getting in some great, inexpensive skiing on President’s Day.
