Jackson Hole dumping, gets 18 inches in 24 hours

The last 24 hours in Jackson Hole have been amazing. Here’s what they reported on their blog this morning:
“We were expecting a nice, fun 6″ or so. We got 18″! It was one of those unassuming storms that rolled through the Rockies and graciously dumped another substantial amount of snow on Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee, bringing total season snowfalls to #2 and #1 in the Rocky Mountains, respectively. You’ve never heard so many whoops and hollers as you will when you ski this world class resorts on a day like today. Don’t miss out on the best skiing in the Rockies. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort: Past 24 hours: 18″ Since lifts closed: 12″ Snow depth: 83″ Total season snowfall: 265″ Grand Targhee Resort: Past 24 hours: 14″ Since lifts closed: 11″ Snow depth: 86″ Total season snowfall: 276″ Snow King Resort: Past 24 hours: 3″ Snow depth: 37″.
