U.S. National Champion Sho Kashima selling gear for Haiti

How do we love Sho Kashima? Let us count the ways! The U.S. Freestyle Ski Team mogul skier severely injured his knee just days before the Deer Valley World Cup, eliminating his chances for inclusion on the U.S. Olympic Team.

Sure, he was bummed. Who wouldn’t be? Kashima is no slouch–and is in fact the U.S National Champion in the dual moguls event. But instead of simply hanging up his gear for the season Kashima decided to put it toward a better cause. He’s now auctioning off items including a new pair of Lange Banshee Freeride boots and his ’09 U.S. Team uniform on eBay to benefit the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. 100% of the proceeds from sales will go to help Haitians in need.
