CoreUPT Skis offers next great skier a contract and spot at inaugural Winter X Games Europe

Did you know that the inaugural European Winter X Games are coming to France?

To mark the occasion, and for the 1st time in Winter X Games history, CoreUPT Skis is launching a contest to take your skiing career to the next level.

Up for grabs: a 3-year ski contract + gear, and your very own spot to have on the Winter X Games Europe Slopestyle starting line!

Now is your chance to join the ranks of these Coreupt pros

So if you want the chance to be picked and to compete alongside team members such as recent FWT winner Candide Thovex, TJ “Double Cork 1620” Schiller, or the always hilarious Colby West, you need to do the following:

* Get training

* Get yourself filmed

* And post your edit on before February 15th

Deadline for posting your video: February 15, 2010
Results to be announced: February 20, 2010

Jury: 50% pro team / 20% internet voters / 30% ESPN jury
Video theme: slopestyle

Length of edit: 3 minutes maximum, including a 20 second intro showing the / Winter X-Games / Skipass / Newschoolers logos.
Media partners: / / NB: Videos must be posted on Zapiks.

the following way: selection- Last Name/First Name
* At the same time, send an email with your contact details and the link to your edit to:

Selection criteria 

* Points for skiing technique (the highest score wins of course)
* Points for scenario / editing / sticking to theme (we need some originality too)
* Points for image quality / compression / format

You will receive an email on the 20th of February telling you if you are one of the 3 finalists or not. If you are selected for the finals, these will take place mid-February at a (still-to-be-decided) European resort. Only one person will be chosen from this final. If you are the chosen person, you will from then on become a part of the pro team for 3 years and you will come to Tignes with the rest of the team to take part in the Slopestyle competition.
