Broken record: El Nino pounds Mammoth again

The season is not a sprint, it’s a marathon.  So while other areas may have seen a better early season, few are seeing better snow conditions than the Cali trifecta of Lake Tahoe – Mammoth – Big Bear.

And if you own an El Nino dartboard, you know those three Cali spots are the center of the El Nino dartboard.

Well the darts are flying again this morning.  Heavenly has already received a few inches, Mammoth Mountain has packed on another 10 inches, and the whiteness is about to start falling in the So-Cal mountains.

Snow will continue to fall through tomorrow night.  By then another two feet of snow will have been packed on to Mammoth’s mammoth sized snow base.  El Nino, thou art the greatest anomaly known to skiing man.
