Dupont Circle snowball fights as D.C. sells out of cross-country skis after record storm

The storm was a record setter.  For D.C. it was the biggest since 1922.  And the folks underneath that snow?  It was the biggest snowball fight on record.  More than 2000 participants showed up in Dupont Circle.  The battle went down and a brave, good-humored reporter entered the fray (video above).  Organized on Facebook under The Official Dupont Circle Snowball Fight, it’s another example of how snow unites!

Elsewhere, predictably most stores are out of shovels.  The other big seller?  Cross-country skis.  If you have a van full of cross-country skis, you might want to head to D.C.
