Lindsey Vonn takes her ‘exposure’ to another level in Sports Illustrated

If Lindsey Vonn’s cover shot last week for the Sports Illustrated Olympic preview issue raised a few eyebrows, her appearance in the annual swimsuit issue released Tuesday should really get people talking.

Taken in Whistler Blackcomb, Canada, last July, the photos show the two-time defending World Cup champion in attire much more revealing than a skin-tight ski-racing suit. Sporting a variety of bikinis by her sponsor Under Armour and other swimwear designers, Vonn shows off the results of hours in the gym. She even appears topless in a few shots holding an artfully draped fur shawl.

Interestingly enough, the shoot was done before her switch from Rossignol to Head skis, so the prominent Rossignol logos on the skis in several photos have been airbrushed into history. However, if Vonn, herself, is not too distracting, the tell-tale Rossi Rooster did sneak through in a few photos for those willing to play a version of “Where’s Waldo.”

In addition to Vonn in the “Olympic Stars” section of the swimsuit pictorials, snowboarders Clair Bidez and Hannah Teter, along with aerialist Lacy Schnoor, are also featured.
