Live music lights up Whistler during Olympic Games

Canada knows how to throw an Olympic-sized party! There has been daily and nightly live music by top Canadian artists and the fun really is non-stop. Feist played tonight after the medals ceremony in Whistler, and Matisyahu rocked Whistler Village during the afternoon this past weekend–for all to see.

All shows are free, though the medals ceremony shows require tickets, which aren’t easy to come by. If you can’t make it in, however, there are several stations where you can watch the concerts on giant screens, and in Whistler, you can simply just hang out near the venue and feel like you’re right there.

We’re looking forward to Devo, Jet and the Barenaked Ladies. And oh yes, Usher will rock the Village before the Games come to a close. Talk about an Olympic-sized party.
