Spring Break in Quebec? It’s all happening at Tremblant!

Much more than just good ski!

Mont-Tremblant, February 16th, 2010 – Tremblant is the perfect place for spring break, not just for skiing as a family, but above all, for a memorable vacation where all family members tall and small can have a great time. There are currently exceptional offers on accommodation and lift tickets. No hesitation, Tremblant is the place to go for School Break!

Toufou, crazy games, and more!

All through School Break, Tremblant offers a huge range of free activities in the pedestrian-only village. On the Place St-Bernard there will be “crazy games” such as giant volleyball and basketball, and the Place des Voyageurs will host our mascot Toufou for autograph sessions. You may also run into this cheery fellow as he roams the village…as do buskers and other street entertainers. In the evening, kids from 5 to 15 get the chance to have a blast on mini snowmobiles for only 15$, on a safe closed course!

Fun for everyone

Tremblant means fun for all families, even the ones that don’t ski! From the vast array of possible non-skiing activities, you can choose between dog sledding, snowmobile rides, horseback riding, snowshoeing, ice climbing, sleigh rides, and even more!

Evenings of entertainment and early morning treats

When you stay on the Tremblant Resort, you obtain several privileges that add value to your stay.

First off, you will have completely free access to First Tracks. Take the gondola starting at 7:45 a.m. and enjoy the freshly groomed slopes before everyone else. In addition, you can enjoy evening activities free of charge. Whether your tastes run to skating on the illuminated ice rink near the Chapel, to tube sliding, or three-skiing, you’ll find much to do here. Also, there are themed evenings on the ice rink:  on Thursdays, your teenagers will have a ball as friendly hockey games are organized and every Saturday night, you will find a different theme, from disco fever to rock. Fun awaits everyone!

And now, playtime for grownups

Parents are not left out at Tremblant. There is a whole assortment of possibilities for them to enjoy. The pedestrian village is a playground for adults, who can shop the many boutiques and delight in the wide range of restaurants to sample. From healthy cuisine for lunch to fabulous gourmet dinners in the evenings, dreams become reality in the atmosphere of this unique village with many outdoor fireplaces to sit by and relax.

Féérie des Glaces

In parallel with the School break, a fabulous event will be happening in the Mont-Tremblant area. La Féérie des Glaces, initiated by internationally renowned ice sculptor Laurent Godon, will take place from February 19th to March 7th, 2010. Tremblant Resort is a partner in the event with it’s Disco on Ice evening on the ice rink on February 27th. Also, visitors will have the chance to admire three ice sculptures exhibited in the pedestrian village.

Offers that elicit contented sighs…

When you book more than two nights’ accommodation between February 22nd and March 26th, you get up to five days of skiing for the kids for as little as $85. Add another $85 and kids will also get their rental equipment for the whole five days. Act fast! Your stay must be booked prior to February 22nd! Tickets are valid from Monday to Friday only during the stay, and taxes and fees are extra, certain conditions apply.
