Bode Miller’s Vancouver Olympic experience is over. During the first run of the men’s slalom this morning, he caught a ski edge near the top of the course and skied out of bounds. He had a successful run at these Games, earning three medals in five races. He received gold in the super combined, silver in the super-G and bronze in the downhill.

Several other racers failed to finish the slalom race as well including Ted Ligety. Jimmy Cochran got tripped up on a gate and was able to finish, but his time is among the worst of the racers.
