Ski to benefit the American Cancer Society

Probably the only thing in this world better than skiing is skiing for a noteworthy cause. What better cause is there than cancer research? Well, this weekend, head to Vermont’s Pico Mountain where you can participate in “Hope on the Slopes”.

Pico Mountain will take $12 of every lift ticket sold and give it directly to the American Cancer Society. You can also help the Cancer Society by donating $1 to take a timed run down a professional course! Take part in the raffle being held throughout the day and you might win some cool prizes like a My Pico Season Pass, or a snowboard gift package. Put in a donation for the kids’ pizza party and face painting too! Plenty of ways to help out this weekend, and have a fun time doing it!

In addition to the American Cancer Society, other programs will be helped, like the Cancer Survivor’s Network, Reach to Recovery, Man to Man and Look Good, Feel Better. Get out there and have some fun for a great cause!
