No word yet on whether “Secret’s of Aspen” a reality show on VH 1, will be picked up. This will likely please the group of locals who oppose the show to begin with, and who started their own Facebook page denouncing the show – “Aspen Against VH1′s “Secrets Of Aspen.”

This will likely please the group of locals who oppose the show to begin with, and who started their own Facebook page denouncing the show – “Aspen Against VH1′s “Secrets Of Aspen.” They felt the show, which revolves around 6 socialites complete with promiscuity, drama and feel-good nonsense; all the stuff of a great reality show. Jim Berger, executive producer with Denver-based High Noon Entertainment, which developed the show, said Monday that “no one ever intended to do a full-on retrospective of the town and all the different slices of life … . This is an entertainment program.” Brooke Lauren, at 25, the youngest cast member added, “This isn’t a Warren Miller film.”

The show 8 episodes averaged less than 500,000 viewers, low by industry standards. We’ll hold our breath on this one.
