Not exactly the kind of poker that has taken over ESPN’s airwaves, it’s Ski Poker and it hits Vail Mountain on Saturday.
To get in on the shuffle is a two-part process. First buy your Ski Poker game card from any kind Rotarian hanging out on the mountain at Vista Bahn, Golden Peak, Lionshead, Wildwood and Mid Vail, Eagles Nest, and the top of Chairs 11, 4 & 5. From there, you’ll be able to draw your cards.
Five gifts will be awarded to the top five hands. Prizes include an Epic Pass donated by Vail Resorts, four nights at Grand Cayman donated by Indies Suites, two nights at the Cascade Hotel, four First Tracks passes and either two Vilar Performing Arts Center tickets or two dance tickets donated by the Vail Valley Foundation and a pair of Solomon skis donated by Solomon.
Monies raised will go the Vail Rotary Club’s charitable activities including Polio Plus, the children’s health initiative, the dictionary project, and college scholarships for local high school graduates.
