Changes made to slopestyle course at European X Games

Wanted to let you guys know that the slopestyle course at the European X Games in Tignes Val Claret has been altered slightly. One jump is significantly bigger, and many of the pre-jump areas have been altered to ensure much more airtime. The changes should result in longer time in the air as well as allow for more tricks to be done.

This morning, high winds forced athletes to hold their practice sessions, but the afternoon saw better weather. Mother Nature has plagued many ski and snowboard competitions lately, let’s hope she lets up for these X Games!

The first slopestyle event, men’s qualifiers, will be held on Thursday, and tonight will be the men’s Superpipe qualifiers.
