This is not what you’re supposed to use your mask and goggles for, people! This morning at around 7:30 AM, a man wearing a ski mask and goggles robbed The Colorado Community Bank at 20991 E. Smoky Hill Road in Arapahoe.

Captain Louie Perea of the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said the man came into the bank before it was opened. He ordered people to hit the ground, and then he fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect has been described as being about 5 feet 11 inches tall with a thin build. He was white, and wearing a red, black and gray windbreaker and Navy blue sweat pants. For about an hour, area schools were on lockdown. They included Timberline Elementary School; Peakview Elementary School, Rolling Hills Elementary School, Antelope Ridge Elementary School, Falcon Creek Middle School, Thunder Ridge Middle School, Eaglecrest High School and I Team Outback Alternative High School.

If you have any knowledge about who this robber might be, contact the Arapahoe police.
