Amazing stop-motion ski movie

This is great. The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort let us know about this awesome film submitted for the 2010 Coldsmoke photo competition. It’s a stop-motion film which means it “is an animation technique to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence. Clay figures are often used in stop-motion for their ease of repositioning. Stop-motion animation using clay is called clay animation or clay-mation” (Wikipedia).

This film uses a real person and real props, no clay. It’s like having the best dream ever. A ski dream. Except the snow is your pillow and your sheets, and for some reason, all you gear comes to you and puts itself on you. We loved this, hope you do too. It’s called “Pillow Line”.
