Steamboat Springs’ Eliza Outtrim takes home first World Cup gold in moguls

Eliza Outtrim finally got her first podium performance, and she made it even better by winning the race.  The moguls skier from Steamboat Springs, CO won the first World Cup moguls race of her career in Sierra Nevada, Spain.  Outtrim’s teammate, Heather McPhie, also joined her on the podium, as the Bozeman, MT native took third place.  2010 Olympic gold medalist Hannah Kearney came in fourth, and in the men’s event, Jeremy Cota finished the highest of U.S. athletes, placing 10th.
