Much of Colorado is being pounded by Mother Nature’s delicious white stuff as this is being written. Forecasters have said Denver can expect up to 16 inches by Wednesday, with more snow expected in the foothills and mountains. Snow in the warning area is expected to fall at an inch an hour at times tonight. Weather was the cause of a power outage to 6,200 homes and businesses in southwest Denver beginning at about 6 p.m. Significant outages from the storm are not expected, said Xcel Energy spokesman Tom Henley.
