It’s been quite a few days for U.S. Olympian Tommy Ford, as he has won three national titles at the U.S. Alpine Championships.  Ford won the slalom on Sunday as well as the combined, and on Monday, he took home the giant slalom title at Whiteface Mountain.  He won the title over Warner Nickerson by .79 seconds, and Chris Frank came in third.  2006 Olympic champion Ted Ligety opted not to run the second leg of the race after taking 8th in the first leg, and 2010 US downhill and Super-G champ Travis Ganong skied off course in his second run.
