Just a quick notice here folks—Next weekend, Snowmass Village in Colorado will be hosting a winter sports clinic for disabled veterans. Veterans Affairs Secretary Erik Shinseki will be organizing, and it will be sponsored by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Disabled American Veterans.
The clinic is all about teaching disabled veterans about adaptive alpine and Nordic skiing, among other winter sports. We really love this. There have been several studies that prove the healing power of sport amongst disabled veterans. Physically and therapeutically, there is nothing better. Adaptive winter sports have changed so many lives for the better. What a wonderful progression of the winter sporting world!
