One of the reasons we love the jam band Phish here at The Ski Channel (OK, it may just be this writer), is because guitarist Trey Anastasio constructed a ski hill in his freakin’ backyard. Baller. Clearly it’s provided him with some epic inspiration, as the band has been killing it since their return to the stage last year.
To get you ready for their summer tour (which includes a stop in one of our favorite ski towns of Telluride), check out Phish 3D in theater April 30th! The film is a compilation of their Festival 8 show, the band’s three-day festival which took place on October 30th, 31st and November 1st at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The band performed 8 sets over the course of the weekend, including a special Acoustic Set on Sunday afternoon. Keeping the tradition of past Halloween shows, they donned a musical costume on Halloween night, covering The Rolling Stones’ album Exile On Main Street.
