Snowboarder Pamela Anderson channeling Marilyn Monroe lands her in fourth place on “Dancing With The Stars”

Our snowboarding pal Pamela Anderson is putting on a pretty solid show on ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars”. We always said if she learned how to dance as easily as she learned how to snowboard, she would have no problems on this show.

Last night, she channeled Marilyn Monroe as she and partner Damian scored a 23/30, to put their total score at 43/60. Here’s some commentary from Entertainment Weekly:

“Who better to channel Marilyn Monroe than Pamela Anderson?” wondered Damian the adorable Aussie. On the one hand: true. On the other… any blonde actress? No matter; Pam really was perfect in this role and did not break character for the entire two hours — parting her lips, feigning surprise at nothing, and basically just digging the camera. I keep thinking she’s going to eat her partner but then she just bites the air. Pam and Damian’s foxtrot began behind a series of hanging beaded sequin-chains, marking a portal into Pam’s World, where it was just her — nobody else but her. Unlike Niecy, Pamela is great at reining it in when she realizes she’s mouthing some of the words to her music. ”I don’t know what the judges think, but a busload of Kennedys just pulled up,” quipped Tom. DANCMSTR’s Word of the Day: tittivate (v.) To make neat, smart, or trim. ”Google it!” I did. In other words, Pam’s got to work on her posture. Sidenote: Damian’s tie perfectly matched Brooke’s dress.”
