Sad news to report this morning. Two snowmobilers from Colfax, Washington were enjoying the Brundage Mountain ski area in Idaho yesterday when they were killed by an avalanche.
The sheriff’s department announced that the slide was reported around 11:40 AM yesterday. It happened just outside of the central Idaho town of McCall.
At about 2:40 PM, emergency crews recovered the two bodies.
We don’t have more details, but we would like to extend our deep condolences to all those who knew and loved these snowmobilers.
Avalanches are real. We hear stories like this one every week. Please be careful out there.
