We’re up here at beautiful Mammoth Mountain Resort in sunny California. It was bluebird yesterday and blue skies this morning, this after 18 inches in 24 hours. It snowed again this afternoon and one of the locals remarked that there is so much snow on the ground Mammoth may stay open into June. Wow!  Buy your season pass to Mammoth now and get a huge discount.

The Mammoth Invitational is a special event going on this weekend in support of the junior athletes in the Mammoth community. Come by and cheer on the Hollywood stars, the Olympic skiers, and the next generation of Olympians. US Olympians Ted Ligety, Stacey Cook, Steven Nyman, Tommy Czeshin, Keely Kelleher, and Erik Fisher will all be competing in a dual-racing format. Donna Mills, Wendy Malik, Melissa Rivers, and Kimberlan Brown are the tinsel town twinklers this weekend.

The Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation is dedicated to enriching the educational environment of our community and developing world-class athletes, scholars and citizens. With your help we will provide the means and tools to support, train and educate youth in our community. Help us achieve our goals by attending the Mammoth Invitational April 2-4, 2010. You’ll get to play, hang out and compete with world class athletes including US Olympians Ted Ligety, Stacey Cook and Tommy Czsechin as well as other big athletes and celebrities like pro surfer, David Kalama and others, attend various evening functions, enjoy live entertainment, participate in live and silent auctions, demo ski and snowboard gear and much more.
