Breckenridge Resort and others plan to crack down hard on bad behavior next season

Are you a season pass holder at the Breckenridge ski area? Then next season, you may want to refrain from hurling snowballs at tourists, bringing alcohol and marijuana to the mountain, or just acting like a brat in general. If you do and are caught, you could lose your season pass for up to two years!

The Breckenridge Resort Chamber is warning skiers and snowboarders that if their behavior gets out of hand next season, punishments will be given out like chocolate bunnies on Easter.

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area general manager Alan Henceroth said more Summit County sheriff’s deputies also can be expected at A-Basin.

April 1st has become known as “Gaper Day” to the locals near Breck. For some reason, that’s been the day that locals have harassed tourists by hurling obscenities and snowballs, among other bad behaviors.

So be on good behavior guys! It totally wouldn’t be worth it to lose a season pass for two years!
