I’d like to thank everyone – our great employees, managers, guests, second homeowners, and locals for a great ski season. Looking back, it went fast. They say time flies when you’re having fun; and it was definitely fun.
With credit to the entire community including all the volunteers, Telluride Ski and Snowboard Club, Capella, Mountain Lodge, The Peaks, Telluride Tourism Board, the Telluride Foundation, Town of Telluride, Town of Mountain Village, as well as Telluride Ski and Golf’s staff, our first FIS World Cup competition was a huge success – the VISA SNOWBOARDCROSS CUP.
It was a year full of initiatives by the ski company, as we launched several new ventures and services with the intent of creating exceptional experiences for our guests.
The new outdoor bar at the Hop Garden proved to be a great addition to Mountain Village this winter.
And, the new outdoor bar and deck at Alpino Vino was a smashing success.
TSG’s new Mountain Village boutique, Telluride Naturals, was well received, offering products from SW Colorado.
TSG’s new eco-tourism division, ECO-ADVENTURES was a great success also, offering our guests outdoor adventure alternatives and environmental education programs while partnering with many local recreation service providers.
Telluride Backcountry Guides was launched late this spring, offering some of the best guided skiing imaginable.
The new RESORT STORE filled a need in Mountain Village for extensive logo items.
The new and unique Gold Hill 9 bridge and stairway was a wonderful addition to the ski area, as well as the new snowcat road to GH8.
A big THANK YOU goes out to the US Forest Service for helping Telluride be a world class resort.
Remember, Telluride and Mountain Village are fun in the summer too, with numerous festivals, quality mountain biking, world-class hiking, and the golf course is scheduled to open May 28.
Again, thanks and kudos to everyone in the community, including the hard-working hoteliers, retauranteurs, and merchants who all work hard each year to create exceptional experiences for our visitors from around the world. ‘Great job’ to the Town of Telluride, Town of Mountain Village, San Miguel County, US Forest Service, and Telluride Ski and Golf staff members!”
