Polish skier Kornelia Marek has tested positive for EPO at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Poland’s Ski Association banned Marek on Wednesday from all competitions and canceled her funding.

Marek said in a statement that she’s sorry her scandal overshadowed Poland’s six medals that they won in the Games. She was the only competitor to test positive for the drug.

She had participated in the 20K relay and helped Poland to a sixth place finish. She admitted to injecting EPO but claimed she didn’t realize the drug was banned. The IOC and international ski authorities are continuing an investigation.
