So Cal mountains to get massive snowstorm

In what will likely go down as one of the top couple winters in our lifetime for So Cal, the 09/10 ski season is about ready to get another gift from the Snow Gods as up to 3 feet of snow is supposed to pound the big So Cal mountains like Baldy and San Jacinto.  The dumps are supposed to start on Sunday and run through Monday.

We have been eyeing that Snow Creek route off of San Jacinto and it looks delicious.  Thank you Palm Springs tram!

Now that most of the roads are open to the local resorts (with the exception of Highway 330 to Snow Summit and Bear Mountain,) it is a great time to hit them.  Great spring skiing with tons of snow!

Also, there are great end of season lift ticket specials all over.

So Cal has Snow Summit, Mountain High, Bear Mountain, Mt. Baldy and Mt. Waterman all up and running right now.
