Memorial Day skiing and snowboarding? You’d think something that awesome would only happen somewhere like in Mammoth Mountain, CA. Well, think again. The Stratton Mountain ski area is taking the snow that made up the U.S. Open Superpipe and Freestyle courses and using it for a rail jam in May, over Memorial Day weekend.

This will be the Stratton Mountain Mayhem Jam, a “park builder’s pick” event, with cash prizes and a ton of free stuff. The action goes down on Sunday, May 30th, at 10AM. in Stratton’s Sun Bowl. $20 is all you need to participate. You can sign up on-site beginning at 9AM that day, or head to active.com and do it there.

After the jam, enjoy some BBQ and cool music by DJ Joe Bell.
