Julien’s Auctions is proud to present “Hollywood Legends” summer auction taking place at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino Las Vegas on Saturday, June 26th and Sunday, June 27th. This auction boasts memorabilia spanning the inception of Hollywood through our modern-day celebrities, featuring screen-worn costumes, original scripts, and never seen before photographs of some of the biggest stars to grace the silver screen. Leading these highly sought-after offerings is Christopher Reeve’s “Superman IV” costume, including cape, bodysuit and tights, acquired directly from the construction manager of the film, Mel Gibson’s shield, sword, and costume from “Braveheart”, Kate Winslet’s earrings from “Titanic”, and a Patrick Swayze handwritten questionnaire for 16 magazine.

This unparalleled two-day sale of Hollywood memorabilia includes a selection of coveted Marilyn Monroe items from her public and personal life, including Marilyn Monroe’s prompt book from “Something’s Got to Give”, never seen before vintage slides from the set of “Some Like it Hot”, Marilyn Monroe’s skis used in an early photo shoot, Marilyn Monroe’s Personal Bottle of Channel #5, Marilyn Monroe’s Pucci clothing, and Marilyn Monroe’s Chair from her final photo shoot for Life magazine.’
