The skies in Europe are back to normal after volcanic ash cloud disruption

After what seems like an eternity to passengers and airline personnel, the skies are finally normal again in Europe, as flights are back to “100 percent.”  Seven days ago, an ash cloud that developed from the eruption of a volcano in Iceland blanketed the skies of Europe and shut down the airspace.  Thousands of passengers were affected and the airline industry lost millions of dollars.  As of now, it’s not clear how long it will take for passengers to get where they need to go, as airlines are addign and rearranging existing flights to try and help get everyone out safely.
