As we reported yesterday, Loveland is still open for skiing and snowboarding: “What a grand finish Mother Nature is giving us this season! Since last Wednesday, the Loveland Ski Area is reporting 26 inches of new snowfall, including nine inches on Friday and eight inches on Sunday. Skiers and snowboarders called the weekend “epic”. “It was like skiing in February”, one skier said. “There was a little more moisture in the snow, but it wasn’t heavy and wet like you’d expect this time of year”. The crowds were almost as big as the snow last weekend, and you can expect much of the same for this coming weekend—the National Weather Service is calling for a chance of more snow Thursday through Sunday.
This week may be a bit warm and sunny, but again, toward the end of this week, the snow may come back. Let’s hope for an amazing closing week/weekend for Loveland!”
